Summer Trip to Pennsylvania

My trip to Pennsylvania was awesome! I got to visit with Nana and Pop-Pop.
Nana took really good care of me- fed me my bottle, made sure to give me dessert, and even enlightened me with some good literature. I guess this was her way of showing off her "nana" skills to convince mom and dad that I'll be in good hands for those upcoming long summer vacation visits.

I had a lot of fun with Pop-Pop, too. He's a pretty cool dude- we just spent the days playing and then relaxing.

I got to meet Misty- the "little dog" and

Star- BIG DOG!

During the trip I had a lot of first-in-my-lifetime experiences:
1)
My first Big Boy Bath by Myself (just ignore the arm- I'm really doing all of the work)

2) My First ever bouncy ride- Nana and Pop-Pop have the best toys!

3) My first swim lesson!

4) My first step away from the bottle- who needs sippy cups?!

5) And my first ever Big Boy ride in the shopping cart- don't tell mom!

We went to a festival and I met this crazy bird. He even knew my name!

We also got to meet all of daddy's family and friends! It was quite a busy week!

Well- as with all good things- the end eventually comes. After a month of traveling, Mom's crazy antics signaled that it was definitely time to head back home to Fresno.

I had a great time, visiting everyone in PA. It was a bit hectic, and now the trouble will be trying to get mom and dad back on my schedule.

Rexton's arrival in Florida

It was a jam-packed three weeks visiting friends and family in The Sunshine State. Rex did great on his first airplane ride!

"Hey, can't a kid get some peanuts around here!"

As soon as we landed, Grandma and Grandpa got right to work spoiling Rex with hugs and kisses.

It was off to meet our new cousin Tanner and finally introduce Rex to his Great Grandma, Aunt Nancy and Uncle Glen. (For some reason the photographer was having a bad day...sorry Great Grandma and Uncle Glen!)

Rex also got to meet ALL of his Aunties. The love was obvious!

The three weeks were also filled with many firsts!
1.) First solids- bananas are yummy!2.) First trip to the beach. The waves were a bit overwhelming!

3.) First time reading the newspaper (Thanks Grandpa for sharing your chair!)

4.) Rex mastered sitting unassisted while we were on our trip!

Whew! After all that is was time to move on to visit with Daddy's family in Pennsylvania.
